Won the grand prize at the national competition of the music artist/band contest sponsored by Shinseido (band name: The Parsifal).

Graduated from the Department of Design, Tokyo Zokei University in 1988, majoring in film.

1989
Appeared on TBS Ikasu Band Heaven and won the Grand Ika Ten King (Band name: Flying Kids)

1990
Made his major debut as the bass player and leader of Flying Kids from Victor Entertainment.
He actively provides music to other artists.

1998
Flying Kids disbanded.

2000
Mr. Yasushi Akimoto, Representative Director and President, joined 81 Entertainment and was in charge of music division production for the next 5 years.
Yasushi Akimoto serves as the music director for produce ``NHK BS Oi Nippon.''

Flying Kids reunite. Resumes artist activities.
